Overview of the Organisation
Ladakh Ecological Development Group (LEDeG) is a non-governmental organisation registered as a non-profit society in 1983 in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Its mission is to promote ecologically and socially sustainable development which harmonises with and builds upon traditional Ladakhi culture. Today LEDeG has more than 55 fulltime employees reporting to a Working Committee of 8 members. This Committee is responsible for the decision makings and governance of LEDeG's projects.
